Laminating Module ILM-DS for Matica XID8xxx and Matica XID9xxx

The EDIsecure® laminating modules can laminate different types of film. Depending on the application or customer requirements, thinner films (overlay) or thicker films (patch) can be applied. Both foils are available transparent or with integrated holographic security features. Both laminates increase security and protect the ID card against mechanical influences, abrasion and scratching.
 

The Matica Lamination Module ILM-DS is available for double-sided lamination as an option for the XID8xxx series and XID9xxxe series. The transmission of the individually required data between laminating module and printer, which are needed for the different card materials, is realised via infrared interface. The individual setting allows the use of different card materials like PVC, PET, ABS and polycarbonate (PC).
