Completly new technology from HID Fargo. The HID Fargo INK1000 is an inkjet printer that can even print on PVC cards. The outstanding feature of the HID Fargo INK1000 is its extremely high resolution and its completely edge-to-edge card printing. This offers ideal conditions for high-quality printing of your ID cards.
Quality: High quality and high resolution card printing with a resolution of 600 x 1200 dpi delivers sharp and brilliant prints, and completely over-the-edge. The prints are sharper than most conventional card printers. Due to the absence of an overlay, the print results are more matte, which prevents a partly unnatural shine of the cards. The black tones are generated by mixing the 3 ink colours (YMC). Therefore a separate black ink cartridge is not necessary.
Technique: Excellent image retention due to thermal technology and very special ink for ideal adhesion on the plastic cards as well as fast drying. The special UV stability prevents the images from fading. You can use the cards immediately after printing, a drying time is not necessary.
Usage: The ink cartridge contains the colours YMC (Yellow, Magenta, Cyan) from which all colours can be mixed (black is therefore rather a very dark grey). The advantage of this printing method is that only as much material is really used as you need (in contrast to all other card printers, which use the material for a complete card page, regardless of the amount of ink actually needed). Especially with smaller images on the cards (e.g. passport images on employee ID cards), the Fargo INK1000 is much more efficient, as it does not use the material for a complete card page.
Printing costs: The printing costs per card vary greatly with inkjet printing. The selected motif, card quality and print settings are decisive factors here. If you print the complete card, the costs are about € 0,40 per card side. However, if you only print a passport photo with your name, the price is reduced to € 0.15 per card. You will find a comparison view as a picture.

Our opinion: We recommend the HID Fargo INK1000 especially for lower print volumes with partial images, logos or graphics as well as for ID cards, employee ID cards and access control with RFID technology.

The card printer HID Fargo INK1000 is connected to your computer via USB cable, just like any other printer. Printing on plastic cards works in principle the same way as printing on paper. Changing the ink cartridge is done by opening the flap and is absolutely uncomplicated and takes only 1 minute. You can start printing from any program (Word, Office, Coral Draw etc.). You do not need any special software. It is very easy to use.

Within the EU
If you have a sales tax number (VAT number) from your EU country, please enter it in the appropriate place during the order process. You will then not have to pay the German sales tax (16% - 19%) and will receive the article at net price. If you do not have a VAT number, the price will surely be increased by the valid German VAT.
The goods will be shipped only after successful payment. Please understand that a purchase on account is not possible, even if it is offered during the ordering process. After successful payment you will immediately receive your shipment number from UPS or DHL.
Outside the EU
For all non-EU orders no German sales tax is charged and you will receive the item at net price. You save between 16-19% tax.
Shipping can only be done against prepayment. For payments via Paypal the invoice amount increases by 2.9%. As soon as the payment is done, your order will be prepared for shipping. The German customs has the right to check the goods for 5 days. Only after the end of this period and release by customs we are allowed to send the articles to you. You will then immediately receive the corresponding shipment number from UPS or DHL.
