Info: When printing RFID cards Mifare Desfire EV2 4K with a DTC (Direct To Card) card printer, misprints can occur at certain points on the card. This is due to the built-in RFID chip and the resulting somewhat uneven card. Therefore we recommend to print your Mifare Desfire EV2 4K cards with a re-transfer printer, such as the Dascom-DC-7600, the Evolis Avansia, the Fargo HDP6600, the Fargo HDP5000 or the Authentys Retrax as well as the new inkjet printer Fargo INK1000.
To be able to encode RFID cards yourself, you need a suitable encoder and the corresponding software. Both depend on the reader you use. We will be happy to tell you what the right components are for your RFID system, whether your card printer can be equipped with them and what costs you will incur.
