With the HID Fargo ISO magnetic stripe encoder for the HDP5000, you can encode all types of magnetic stripes yourself, regardless of whether they are LoCo or HiCo cards. This enables you to print and encode your cards in one step. An external and separate device is therefore no longer necessary.
With the encoder of the re-transfer printer HID Fargo HDP5000 you can encode the corresponding magnetic stripes on the cards. Special software is required for encoding. Decisive for the right application is the magnetic card you need. Here, a primary distinction is made between LoCo and HiCo magnetic cards. It is important that you have the right cards, otherwise the data on the cards cannot be read by the reader.
For encoding your magnetic stripes with the HID Fargo HDP5000 you need a suitable software. We recommend the software from Cardpresso. With this software you can print and design cards as well as encode them all in one step.
